Released on April 12, 2005, through Island / Def Jam Records, 'The Emancipation of Mimi' is Mariah Carey's tenth studio album and is widely regarded as her 'comeback' project. It became her best-selling album featuring hit singles 'We Belong Together', 'Shake It Off', 'Don't Forget About Us' and 'It's Like That'. The album will be reissued in a 2LP, which includes a new bonus track making its debut on vinyl, 'We Belong Together (Mimi's Late Night Valentine's Mix)'. A Digital Deluxe album is also released with bonus tracks and remixes.
