Description
Lovesick is an Italian band made up of Paolo Roberto Pianezza and Francesca Alinovi. Two multi-instrumentalists whose influences are deeply rooted in American country, rock 'n' roll and western swing from the 40's and 50's. As well as their distinctive vocal harmonies, Paolo plays electric and acoustic guitar, as well as lap-steel, Resonator and Dobro. Francesca, for her part, plays a double bass to which she has added a brush pad, a kind of percussion inside her instrument that allows her to keep the rhythm with brooms. The duo is joined by Alessandro Cosentino on violin and drums.
