Description

Designed to deliver audiophile sound in an easy-to-use, plug-and-play design, the E1 Phono Manual Two-Speed Turntable from Pro-Ject Audio Systems in satin walnut comes with a built-in phono preamp and is constructed from low resonance components. The reduced vibration allows the pre-adjusted low-friction 8.6" aluminium tonearm, equipped with an Ortofon OM 5e cartridge, to cleanly and clearly play music from your 33 1/3 and 45 rpm records. The built-in switchable MM phono preamp makes setup easy, allowing you to simply add a pair of powered speakers to complete the system.

Reducing Resonance
Removing or reducing vibration to a bare minimum is essential for achieving a clean sound from your vinyl. Pro-Ject accomplishes this in a variety of ways with the E1 Phono turntable, starting with the large and sleek plinth. The plinth of the E1 Phono is CNC-machined from composite fiber with no hollow spaces inside. On top of the plinth is the ABS polymer main platter, with integrated ridges to assist in the reduction of resonance. Even the damped DC motor helps by being placed to the side of the main platter, where the belt system drives a sub-platter underneath the main platter.
Convenient Operation
Playing your records is not complicated with the Pro-Ject E1 Phono. Simply place the record on the turntable, use the electronic speed switch to pick 33 1/3 or 45 rpm, and drop the needle. At the Pro-Ject factory, technicians have already pre-adjusted the tonearm's tracking force and anti-skate to ensure the Ortofon OM 5e cartridge stays in the groove to produce a dynamic sound.

Additional Features
Acrylic dust cover with adjustable hinges is included
Gold-plated female RCA connectors
Photo cable and 45 rpm adapter included
