Description
Melvyn Tan embraces three centuries of keyboard styles tracing the inspirations for Ravel's groundbreaking works for piano. By exploring new pianistic territory, Ravel mirrored Scarlatti and Liszt in experimenting and expanding the possibilities of the keyboard. Setting it free in highly coloured, impressionistic washes of sound which evoke situations, landscapes and characters.
