Chris Blackwell, The Wailers' producer, overdubbed instruments by outsiders to make them more enjoyable to Western ears - resulting in the reggae genre being heard for the first time outside of its homeland. 'Catch a Fire' has been pressed as a half speed master by Abbey Road's world-renowned engineers, producing a record of the highest quality.
